Strategies 2020-2030

1. Ensure that frontline communities have ample opportunity to bring their experience and views to bear on the development of climate action priorities

3. Apply revenues generated by climate-related actions to fund transit expansion and other GHG emission reduction strategies

4. Reduce financial barriers and increase funding for low-income building retrofits.

5. Support anti-displacement policies.

6. Ensure that policies generate good jobs that are accessible to frontline communities. Hire community members to work on the climate infrastructure needs of the community.(Hire local)

7. Develop and promote financing tools such as C-PACER (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy & Resilience) to ensure that they are broadly accessible to low-income households, including rental properties. 

8. Use documented geographic health disparities to prioritize spending for infrastructure, transportation and climate mitigation.
